In-House Employee (Full-Time)
What You'll Do:
Perform splicing, termination, and testing of hardline coaxial cables (aerial & underground)
Troubleshoot and maintain telecom, internet, and cable systems
Work closely with engineers and project managers for seamless integration
Keep detailed splicing records and daily reports
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols

What We Need:
Proven experience as a hardline coax splicer
Strong skills in cable prep, fusion/mechanical splicing, and signal testing
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and cable maps
Experience with volt-ohm meters, power meters, light meters
Physical ability to work outdoors, climb poles, and lift up to 50 lbs
Valid driver's license and excellent communication skills
Commitment to safety and PPE compliance

Subcontractor Crews
Your Role:
Execute node replacements and PHY node installations on upgraded systems (42 MHz/750 MHz → 204 MHz/1.2 GHz)
Conduct full system scans and 4-point sweeps
Splice passives and perform faceplate changes as per design
Provide hand-drawn as-built maps and discrepancy reports
Coordinate with fiber splicing teams as needed

Must-Haves:
Proven coax splicing experience (both aerial and underground)
Viavi 630 with 204 diplex required
Minimum one bucket truck per crew
Self-sufficient, safety-focused, and quality-driven
Fiber splicing experience is a big plus
