Responsibilities:

• 30-40 hours per week with tiered commission rate based on weekly sales, starting at 50%
• Groom and style pets per pet parent's instructions and/or according to breed standards
• Provide grooming services, including brushing, bathing, nail trims, and other services
• Ensure the wellness and safety of our furry patrons at all times
• Develop long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products or services that will keep their pet healthy and happy
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting

Qualifications:

• MUST be a graduate of a grooming school or have 2 YEARS of PROFESSIONAL grooming experience
• Be proficient in all breeds standard haircuts
• Must have your own set of professional grooming tools
• Ensure salon is following safety procedures and company handbook
• Be able to move, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time

LH Mercantile, LLC is a franchisee of Pet Supplies Plus that currently has 16 locations throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana. We provide curbside pickup, delivery/autoship services as well as self-service dog washes and full-service grooming salons. We offer an array of pet foods, supplies and accessories for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals.
