We are seeking an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric business development manager to drive the strategy and execution for partnerships with marquee kids content providers. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with solid business judgement and experience in business analytics and negotiation. You build strong relationships, manage costs, and drive operational efficiency without compromising the customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Effectively set and execute strategy for engaging with digital content providers, including prioritizing potential partners, establishing relationships, contracting, and managing ongoing partnerships.
- Work with business, product, and technical leaders to deliver a great content experience
- Independently execute plans while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, marketing, legal, finance, accounting, etc.).
- Maintain trust with partners by ensuring all commitments are fulfilled.
- Prepare and present business reviews to senior leaders.
- Contribute to business strategy, organizational goals, and metrics definitions
- Research and identify new opportunities for Kids digital content business.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
